THE WINCHESTER CLUB JANUARY 2024 NEWSLETTER
HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL OUR MEMBERS!!!!!
Before I begin with the Club News, I would like to apologise for the delay with this Newsletter. The delay is due to a new knee, which makes sitting at a desk uncomfortable. I hope you’ll forgive me!!!
Club News. We start with the usual January plea…..
Please renew your Membership ASAP. Also your Car Park Permits.
Otelli’s Kitchen will be closed between 12th -25th February due to Mike and Fiona being on Holiday. We will be using this time to repair the kitchen floor.
We are planning for the AGM to take place on 29th February.
Nominations and Proposals to be with the Secretary by 15th February. They will include, Nominations for the Chairman, Secretary, Treasurer, and 8 nominations for committee for those who have been on for 2 years.
Valid Comments from Members are welcome, BUT must be signed or they won’t be discussed by the Committee.
Bowls News
Indoor Bowls on Saturday 27th January at the Riverside Bowls Club.
Friday 9th February, either a Quiz or Skittles with a meal. Race night is still on the Cards!!!
Quiz Nights
Sue Hume is hosting Quiz Night on the 2nd Wednesday of the month. Lounge Bar, 8pm Start.
Bingo
Monday afternoons and Sunday nights.
Entertainment
Saturday 27th January……………….Louise Grady
Saturday 10th February…………….Valentines Dance….We welcome back Haycee who were a hit last time!
Saturday 30th March………………..Easter Dance…And we have The Jay’s another returning Duo, who had us on the Dance Floor.
I will be adding to the list shortly and including those dates which will have the option of a meal!
