JANUARY 2025 NEWSLETTER
Belated Happy New Year!…….I have to start by saying I apologise for the lateness of this Newsletter. With so much going on I got behind with everything.
We had a Committee Meeting on 12th January and the AGM will be held on 26th February and applications for nomination to the Committee must be in by no later than 12th February. We request that as many
Members as possible attend the Meeting as we have several items on the Agenda that we would like you to vote on.
Due to staff illness we have a staffing problem, we Thank You for your patience. We would like to thank Gary, Donna, Bonnie and Mawgan for working so many hours to serve you. On behalf of the Senior Management Team AKA Rob, Chick and Len, I would like to Thank the Members of the Committee who have helped out over the Festive Time.
Thanks also to Rosemary and Pete for all their decorating skills…..what would we do without them!!

Please remember to renew your Membership which will expire on 31st January. Also pick up a new Parking Ticket. Can I remind you that
parking at the Club is strictly for when you are actually in it.

I’m afraid I can’t really comment on Otelli’s, except to say that we don’t expect to see the kitchen open in the next few months. As soon as we have anything to relate to you, we will let you know. All I will say is we miss Mike and Fiona and I hope we will see them back soon.
The Charity Quiz hosted by Chick on 5th December to raise money for our Nominated Charity Alzheimer’s turned out to be a very competitive, noisy and enjoyable. We raised £212.00. Thanks to All who attended.
Another Quiz is to be scheduled for a Friday in March.
Sue Green has asked me to include several ‘Thank You’s’ but due to a mishap on my behalf I will have to add it separately! Sorry Sue!
